--In an effort to help protect the identities of our winners from those with malicious intents, we will not be publishing the addresses of the Best in Bloom winners this year.--

Well, the Best in Bloom 2008 has come and gone. Sorry for the delay in posting the winners this year. It took us a little time to determine the best course of action with regard to publishing winners this year.

But finally, here they are.

I have to say that after five years of hosting this competition, one thing has become obvious. Every year, this contest is closer and closer. The contestants continually make improvements, making it tougher and tougher for the judges to do their job. Even extending the three round judging process to four rounds in some cases, to finally determine a winner. The winning gardens are all very unique. Ranging from the very symetrical and meticulously planned to the more whimsical and artistcally representative. In every case however, these gardens are an attribute to the neighborhood they reside in and, a compliment to the property they belong to. Hopefully, through partisipation in this contest we can provide an incentive to encourage others to put forth the same effort that all the Best in Bloom contestants have, to help contribute to the aesthetic appeal of our community.
